Message from Marianne:  As a business leader, I have been a successful executive working in aerospace and other high-tech industries for the better part of 30 years.  Part of my career included owning and operating my own international aerospace company which operated for more than 10 years.  I had the opportunity to work with many bright and talented individuals.

In 2014, I decided to leave corporate America to pursue a career that allowed me to share my skills with others.  I completed training through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) training organization to develop competencies to serve my clients as an Executive Coach.  I had an intense desire to help executives to find their passion, overcome corporate angst, and live a more full and passionate life.

Outside of my corporate life, I have personally experienced a number of life transitions encompassing career, business, loss of a sibling, loss of a child, loss of parents, a divorce, a Down Syndrome child, a Down Syndrome sister, and the list goes on!  I am a cancer survivor and have nursed my brothers and sisters through their own trials with cancer.

In February of 2016, I experienced the unthinkable and most unfortunate death of my youngest son Eric James.  As a strong woman, I had thought I was capable of enduring even the most difficult of circumstances.  I struggled  to accept his death, and to find purpose in this loss, and to find peace and ultimately acceptance.  I became empathetic to other individuals who have lost their loved ones -- especially parents who have lost a child.  The journey is devastating.

This was completely uncharted territory and I had no map.  I knew it was impossible for me to go back to my "old" way of being.  As I worked through my loss, I finally understood how to integrate loss in a way that gave me peace, strength, joy and happiness -- even under the most devastating circumstances.  I now know -- from personal experience -- that we can rise, survive, and thrive in even the most horrific circumstance.  We can rise above!
